In 2017, I had this bonkers idea of opening an online bookshop to sell physical books written by contemporary Brazilian authors.Even though it was an online business, the occasion deserved to be celebrated. No one else could have understood my proposition better than Daniela, who came up with not only the best food and cocktails honouring celebrated Brazilian writers, but she had the most contagious enthusiasm. Soon, a brilliant and memorable event was planned with top quality food and drinks and the most gorgeous musical number too. All taking place in the most charming venue called Baldwin Gallery in Greenwich. That evening is still one of the most specials I have had. A true celebration of arts, culture and food designed and executed by someone who is as passionate about food and drinks as I am about books. That is a considerable amount.
